Our stallholders and customers enjoyed another beautiful autumn day at the market on 21 May. How fortunate, as the next day 19mls of rain fell!
The school is still under intensive reconstruction so once again we called upon the CFA for power and positioned the stalls along the Main Road fence line. Thank you CFA! We were able to provide power for MMM coffee while other stallholders provided their own generators for power.
We were delighted to welcome a new local stallholder – Pork from the Paddock. The pigs free range on paddocks situated over two locations, Clarkefield and Lancefield. Their pork was particularly delicious – very tender with just the right amount of crackling.
Our musician for the day was Luke Humphries. Luke has entertained us on several occasions and gathers quite a crowd. He also has CDs for sale. The musicians are paid from a grant received from the Macedon Ranges Shire, which was provided to us for the promotion of local youth musicians.
Thank you once again to Steve, who cheerfully helps with setting up early each market day.
